Michael & Diane Ward

CCRC is privately owned by Whitney residents, Michael and Diane Ward. It was their vision that created CCRC, a tranquil community where people can live happily and safely in their later years.

 Michael, a native Whitney resident, and his wife Diane built this beautiful community as a service to fellow citizens and Park Plaza Nursing Home, which they have owned and operated since 1998. Michael heads up our maintenance and dietary departments. Not only is he seasoned in the strict rules and guidelines of Life Safety Codes through his many years of nursing home maintenance, he  knows  his way around cuisine seasoning as well.  Michael’s mother taught him home cooking straight from the garden, and previously he and Diane owned and operated a banquet hall, Tea House and catering business.  

Diane is a registered nurse and prior to operating long term care facilities, she was an officer in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps. She serves as Executive Director and oversees all health care concerns including medication administration, vital monitoring, and personal care, and she trains our med attendants. Both she and Michael are very hands on and take a personal interest in each Resident.
