Residents
Our Residents
Holidays are just not holidays without family, but that is not the case here. CCRC family members are always welcome at CCRC, and many have become as familiar as the residents themselves.
The Residents of CCRC were joined by their friends and families for a delicious Thanksgiving meal. The evening started with a welcome by CCRC owners Michael and Diane Ward, a prayer of thanks lead by Resident Dorothy Ditterline and a special poemrecited by Resident Johnnie Bissing Dyer on the behalf of all the CCRC residents expressing the appreciation they feel towards the special people and other blessings bestowed to them by God. Joyful fellowship filled the room with the sharing of a traditional Thanksgiving meal.
Most of All
Thanksgiving Day brings to mind
the blessings in our lives
that usually go unnoticed:
a home that surrounds us
with comfort and protection:
delicious food, for pleasure
in both eating and sharing;
clothes to snuggle up in,
books and good entertainment
to expand out minds;
and freedom to worship our God.
Most of all we are thankful
for the family and friends,
those treasured people
who make our lives extra special.
You are part of that cherished group.
On Thanksgiving, (and every day)
we appreciate you.
